LiMe — Institute for Life and Medical Sciences Kyoto University

Lab. of Biological Data Science

We develop computational methods and databases to extract biological insight from single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data. Our research spans gene expression analysis, gene regulatory networks, and epigenetics - with extensive involvement in interdisciplinary collaborations.

一緒に研究する仲間を募集しています。学生の皆さん、大歓迎です。
We are always looking for future students and collaborators.

Research Interests

1
Construction of DeepSpaceDB, a database for spatial transcriptomics data.
2
Finding biological insights in single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data. See this paper for an example.
3
Finding interesting genes in single-cell and spatial transcriptome data using singleCellHaystack — available on GitHub and CRAN. See Nature Communications (2020) and Scientific Reports (2023).
4
Analysis of large-scale gene expression data, including removal of technical biases and inference of gene regulatory networks.
5
Analysis of stimulus-induced changes in epigenetic markers and their effect on transcription; broad involvement in interdisciplinary immunology collaborations.
