Database Exploration: Xenium

This page aggregates summary statistics across all Xenium samples in the database, grouped by species, organ, or condition. Browse cell-type composition, QC metrics, cell size, neighborhood enrichment, and the genes with the strongest spatial pattern for any group, or compare two groups side by side. Start by picking an organism, then use the Organs and Conditions tabs to view any single organ or condition, or add an Organ and/or Condition filter to narrow everything. The Compare Groups panel lets you contrast any two of these groups against each other: two conditions within the same organ (e.g. cancer vs. control in lung, with an Organ filter set), two organs within the same condition (e.g. brain vs. lung in cancer, with a Condition filter set), or two organs/conditions overall with no filter set, to see how they differ. The "Filter Samples in Database Tab" button takes you to the Database page, where you can build a more specific filter (by metadata field, search term, etc.) down to an exact set of samples; the statistics for that filtered set can then be viewed back here on the Explore page.
